George A. Strait Minority Scholarships are awarded annually to college graduates with meaningful law library experience who are members of a minority group as defined by current U.S. government guidelines, are degree candidates in an accredited library or law school, and who intend to have a career in law librarianship. Applicants must show evidence of financial need.

AALL (American Association of Law Libraries) Educational Scholarships

Educational scholarships are available from the American Association of Law Libraries to assist individuals studying to become law librarians with their educational expenses. Five applications with varying criteria are available: Type I: Library Degree for Law School Graduates, Type II: Library School Graduates Attending Law School, Type III: Library Degree for Non-Law School Graduates, Type IV: Library School Graduates Seeking A Non-Law Degree, Type V: Law Librarians in Continuing Education Courses.

ABA (American Bar Association) Legal Opportunity Scholarship
Deadline March 1
The scholarships mission is to encourage racial and ethnic minority students to apply to law school and to provide financial assistance to ensure that these students have the opportunity to attend law school for three years.In order to be eligible, a student must be an entering, first-year law student in the fall.

AES Engineering Solutions Scholarship

AES Engineering is pleased to be able to continue offering scholarships to motivated students to help in the furthering of their education. You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible. Students must submit an essay of no more than 1000 words in answer to one of the two questions below: 1. What do you consider to be the single most important problem that is facing society today? Why? 2. Why are you a good candidate to receive this award?
