      The Mach25 database contains over 600,000 awards totaling over $1.6 billion. Keyword Search gives you a quick way to narrow down to a particular scholarship or group of scholarships
    • E-Scholar
      The e-scholar website was unveiled in April 2003 by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM). It provides information about hundreds of federally-funded education scholarships, fellowships, grants, internships, and cooperative programs valued at more than $400 million.

    Arts and Music Scholarships

     

    • American-Berlin Scholarships American-Berlin Scholarship Competition, giving young American singers the opportunity to study and perform at Deutsche Oper Berlin, one of Europe's most prestigious opera houses.
    • The Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowships
      Each Fellowship is for one academic year of study in a program approved by the Committee. The place of study may be in America or abroad, in an approved educational institution, with an approved private teacher, or in independent study.
    • The Frank Huntington Beebe Fund
      The Fund provides financial support for round trip transportation, living and other expenses - approximately $15,000. Fellowships are for one year and are generally not renewable.
    • The Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship
      The Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship is a private grant awarded annually to up to four graduate and post-graduate American students in the visual fine arts (painting, graphic design, print-making, sculpture, photography) and music (composition, instrumental or vocal performance).
    • HSF/ McNamara Family Creative Arts Project
      In partnership with the McNamara Family Foundation, this program will provide financial resources to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled full-time in a creative arts related field -media, film, performing arts, communications, writing, and others- to assist them in beginning and completing an art project. Grants will range from $5,000 to $20,000.

    • National Medical Fellowships
      Awards, prizes, and merit scholarships offered by the NMF to exceptional minority students through awards and prizes that honor outstanding scholastic achievements, leadership and community service, as well as exceptional aptitude in the fields of medical journalism, women's health and surgery. These awards are generally available to students in the second through fourth years of medical school.

      Provides a listing of summer health programs mostly targeted for minority students at the high school, college, and graduate student level. The list is broken down state by state.

    Intern

    • Careers Representing America
      Programs enable students to obtain job experience in a foreign affairs environment. Some students work in Washington, D.C., while others have the opportunity to work at U.S. embassies and consulates abroad.
    • Carnegie Endowment for International Peace Junior Fellows Program
      Each year, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace holds a rigorous national competition to select approximately eight graduating Seniors to serve as research assistants. They are matched with senior associates--academics, former government officials, lawyers and journalists from around the world--to work on a variety of international affairs issues. Junior Fellows have the opportunity to conduct research for books, participate in meetings with high-level officials, contribute to congressional testimony and organize briefings attended by scholars, activists, journalists, and government officials. Junior Fellows spend one year (beginning August 1st) at the Carnegie Endowment in Washington, DC. Positions are full-time and include a salary and benefits package.     • Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership
      The Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership awards three scholarships to outstanding Asian Pacific American college undergraduate and graduate students who are interning in the Washington, DC metropolitan area for the summer. Applicants committed to the breadth and diversity of the Asian Pacific American community, including but not limited to economic, ethnic, generational, and regional diversity, are especially encouraged to apply.
    • Freeman ASSIST (Asian Students Summer Internship Stipends)
      This granting agency provides educational allowances to outstanding undergraduate students from East and Southeast Asia who are currently studying in the U.S. and who secure internships with U.S. not-for-profit organizations during the summer. Applicants must be undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a U.S. university or college.
    • UNESCO Fulbright Internship
      The UNESCO Fulbright Internship Program will provide up to six U.S. Fulbright Program participants the opportunity to serve at UNESCO headquarters in Paris for a period of six months following the completion their grant. The program will allow selected grantees to contribute to the advancement of the work of the United Nations and UNESCO, learn from UNESCO staff, and gain valuable professional experience to cap off their Fulbright program abroad.

      Chevening scholarships are currently available in 160 countries around the world.
    • CSFP
      CSFP awards in the United Kingdom are administered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, a non-Departmental Public Body established by Parliament.
    • Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program
      (IFP) provides opportunities for advanced study to exceptional individuals who will use this education to become leaders in their respective fields, furthering development in their own countries and greater economic and social justice worldwide.
    • Josephine de Karman Fellowship Trust
      The purpose of this Fellowship program is to recognize and assist students whose scholastic achievements reflect Professor von Kármán's high standards. Open to foreign students already enrolled in a university located in the United States.
    • Marie Curie Fellowships
      Marie Curie Fellowships provide European placements for pre and post-doctoral researchers, usually up to the age of 35, and for experienced researchers. Fellowships are available in any scientific discipline that contributes to the objectives of the Fifth Framework Programme (FP5). Applicants to this activity are young and experienced researchers and host organisations in academia and industry.
    • NAFSA: Association of International Educators
      NAFSA does not offer scholarships, grants to students, or other financial assistance, but this Web site contains information about where to begin your search for financial aid.
    • Netherlands Fellowship Programmes

    • National Science Foundation
      The National Science Foundation (NSF) is an independent federal agency created "to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; to secure the national defense. " With an annual budget of about $5.5 billion, they are the funding source for approximately 20 percent of all federally supported basic research conducted by America's colleges and universities.       University Park, Pa. -- Applications for Undergraduate Summer Discovery Grants will be accepted Jan. 14 through Feb. 8. Supported by an endowment from the Penn State Alumni Association and funding from the Vice President and Dean for Undergraduate Education, the purpose of these grants is to promote faculty/undergraduate collaboration as students engage in original research, scholarship, and creative work during the summer under the direct supervision of a faculty member. Penn State undergraduate students from all campuses in all fields of study may apply for a grant. Students are eligible for grants in the summer following their first year through the summer before the year in which they will graduate.       The Undergraduate Exhibition will be held April 9 at the University Park Campus. This annual event communicates and celebrates the participation of undergraduate students from across the University in research and creative endeavors. Undergraduate students from all Penn State campuses are invited to enter poster or performance presentations to showcase their work to a general audience.
